Biographical: I've been drinking tea for decades, I grew up watching my mother and my grandmother enjoy tea together. My grandmother would read tea leaves, predicting the future, that always fascinated me. It was how we ended a meal when she stayed with us or spent an afternoon chatting about anything and everything.
The older I get, the more refined my tastes become. It's no longer just boiling water and pouring over a Tetley bag. It's what I do to relax, it's comforting, it's warming up, it's catching up with friends or reconnecting with family, I drink for health of body, spirit and mind. There is nothing better then sitting down and savoring a hot cup of tea. I'm long past Tetley at this point, I've found an entire world of teas, more then I ever imagined.
Who knew that a simple cup of tea, prepared correctly could not only nourish the body, but mind and soul as well.
