Biographical: I grew up drinking Chinese tea & eating Burmese tea leaves, thanks to my Chinese Father & Burmese Mother, which is probably when my huge passion for all things tea began. So one can imagine how excited I was to actually “study” tea, years later, through George Brown College and The Tea Association of Canada, and be part of the first graduating class of Certified Tea Sommeliers in Canada. Currently I am a founding member of the Tea Guild of Canada and take pleasure in giving presentations on tea & conducting tea tastings with an aim to share, educate & enjoy tea with others. I also love eating macarons, making & savouring chocolate, travelling away from crowds and learning Japanese, because I want to return to Japan one day, completely (okay, almost) fluent.
