Full disclosure here - I've done some copywriting work for Tea Forte so I don't review their products on my blog these days. But I did want to say that I tried their Silk Oolong in the loose leaf form and thought it was excellent. (I did receive it as a sample from the company.) It's actually the first Silk Oolong I've really enjoyed. Sorry to hear that the bagged version was so disappointing. I agree with Lainie – Whole-leaf oolongs in a bag rarely end well.

The pyramid-bag thing works well enough for smaller and broken leaf teas, but is completely unsuitable for an oolong.
